About Lexy
I am a development and advancement professional with over a decade of experience in higher education fundraising, alumni relations, and donor engagement, currently serving as Director of Development at the Access Psychology Foundation, a role I have held since January 2026, where I lead development strategy and donor engagement to support the foundation's mission of expanding access to psychological care.
Prior to this role, I spent over six years at the State University of New York Maritime College as Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations, where I focused on increasing leadership donor circles, engaging larger audiences through digital engagement, improving online donor processes, preparing and executing campaigns, building strong alumni relationships, expanding and personalizing stewardship, increasing corporate and individual donors, conducting prospect research and pipeline movement, and creating award-winning campaigns to impact the community.
Before that, I spent six years at Sarah Lawrence College in progressively responsible roles, including Assistant Director of Annual Giving Programs, where I managed the Phonathon Program with over twenty student callers, surpassed FY18 goals in donors and dollars, oversaw Student Philanthropy Committee increasing the Senior Class Gift by twenty-three percent, led strategy for direct appeals to Young Alumni, oversaw the launch of a P2P texting program, and assisted a five-person team in bringing in three-point-five million dollars in unrestricted funds. I also served as Prospect Research and Annual Giving Assistant, where I mastered databases such as LexisNexis, iwave, and Donorsearch, and as Assistant Counselor in the Office of Admissions.
Earlier in my career, I served as Senior Site Manager at Village Taxi, overseeing up to thirty drivers and cars at Long Island MacArthur Airport, and as Associate Manager at McGrath's Fish House for over five years.
Across my career in development, alumni relations, and donor engagement, my work has been driven by a commitment to building meaningful relationships, creating impactful campaigns, and advancing institutional missions through strategic fundraising and stewardship. Whether I am leading development strategy, managing annual giving programs, or engaging alumni and donors, I bring a collaborative approach, strong communication skills, and a dedication to building a culture of philanthropy that supports organizational growth and impact. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue advancing development and donor engagement at the Access Psychology Foundation.
