Leyla Balakhane

She is an experienced family law mediator and conflict resolution professional with over 15 years of practice in child custody, visitation, and divorce mediation, currently serving as Supervising Mediator at the Edmund D. Edelman Children's Courthouse, where she supervises and mentors mediators and law students in performing child custody and visitation arrangements, drafting mediation agreements, and creating parenting plans informed by court exit orders. She also serves as a Divorce & Family Law Mediator at Balakhane Mediation, and previously served as a Mediator at LA Mediate and the Los Angeles Superior Court. She has completed extensive training in mediation and conflict resolution, including a 25-Hour Family Law Training through the National Business Institute.
