Lia Ehlers

I'm an operations professional in the sports industry, currently building my career across multiple roles in youth and professional soccer. Right now, I serve as Operations Manager for both the USL W League and USL Youth at the United Soccer League (USL) in Tampa, Florida—a role I stepped into in early 2026 after previously serving as Operations Coordinator for USL Youth.

Alongside that, I'm on the game day staff for Women's Lacrosse and Softball at the University of South Florida, and I coordinate youth soccer and adult flag football, soccer, basketball, and kickball at Tampa Bay Club Sport.

Before my current roles, I spent nearly a year with Tampa Bay Sun FC, first as Equipment Operations Assistant and then as Match Day Operations Assistant. I also had the opportunity to work as a Championships Assistant at the BIG EAST Conference in New York, where I gained valuable experience in event operations at the conference level.

Every role I take on is another step toward my goal of growing as a leader in sports operations. I love being behind the scenes—making sure everything runs smoothly on game day, supporting athletes and coaches, and helping organizations deliver great experiences for players and fans alike.
