Ten minutes with Lida
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to being authentic, practical, and creating a judgment-free environment where people feel supported and confident in their journey. I believe in meeting people where they are with compassion, understanding, and honesty while providing realistic guidance that empowers them to achieve meaningful, sustainable results. By building trust and helping individuals feel valued, I am able to make a lasting impact on their growth and success.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is to remain adaptable and embrace the ability to pivot when needed. Throughout my career, I have learned that even the most carefully developed plans or programs may require adjustments and change to achieve the best outcomes. Being open to new ideas, responding to challenges, and continuously evolving have been essential to my growth and success.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to recognize the meaningful impact they can have on others. The greatest reward is often seeing someone succeed and knowing that your support, guidance, or encouragement made a difference in their life. Never underestimate the influence you can have, because you may be the one person who helps someone overcome a challenge, reach their potential, or create a positive change they will always remember.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge in my field right now is encouraging people to be proactive about seeking support and prioritizing their well-being before reaching a point of crisis. Many individuals push through challenges on their own and hesitate to ask for help, often waiting until issues become more difficult to address. A significant opportunity is creating greater awareness around prevention, education, and the importance of taking action early. By encouraging people to recognize the value of support and making healthier choices sooner, we can help them achieve better long-term outcomes.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are guided by what I call the Super Power Code: exploration, fun, humor, integrity, honesty, consistency, compassion, and follow-through. I believe in continuously exploring new ideas and opportunities for growth while maintaining a sense of curiosity and openness. I value bringing positivity and humor into everyday experiences, leading with honesty and integrity, and staying consistent in my commitments. Above all, compassion and follow-through are essential to me because they build trust, strengthen relationships, and demonstrate genuine care for the people around me.
