Her Story

About Lilach

Lilach Bullock is an AI Implementation Consultant, Fractional CMO, entrepreneur, and international speaker with more than two decades of experience in marketing. Through her consulting work, she helps entrepreneurs, service businesses, and marketing teams implement AI across content, SEO, lead generation, workflow automation, and everyday business operations. Her client experience includes global brands such as IBM, Twitter, Dropbox, monday.com, and Greenpeace. Her expertise has earned recognition from Forbes and Oracle, and she has spoken at more than 100 events internationally.

Lilach began her entrepreneurial journey in 2004 with asklilach, providing virtual administrative support to small-business owners, before founding Socialable in 2006 as social media emerged as an important business channel. She went on to build, grow, and sell agencies while developing extensive experience in digital marketing and working with organizations around the world. Today, she combines that background with AI implementation and fractional marketing leadership, helping businesses build practical systems that improve marketing performance and reduce repetitive work.

A significant personal and professional turning point came after a serious period of illness that required Lilach to step away from work and focus on rebuilding her health. Through consistent, incremental progress, she transformed her health and subsequently rebuilt her business around practical AI implementation. She now shares the lessons, experiments, successes, and failures from that journey through her work and newsletter, which reaches approximately 15,000 marketers, entrepreneurs, and business owners. Her approach emphasizes practical results, continuous learning, human judgment, and building sustainable systems that give business owners greater capacity and time.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Lilach

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to consistency, curiosity, and a willingness to keep learning. I focus on solving real problems, testing ideas myself, and improving through experience rather than waiting for everything to be perfect. I have also learned that resilience matters; rebuilding both my health and business taught me the value of taking small, sustainable steps and continuing forward even when circumstances change.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is to focus on solving real problems rather than trying to have all the answers or follow every trend. Start with something useful, listen to what people actually need, and keep improving as you go. Experience is valuable, but staying curious and being willing to become a beginner again can open new opportunities.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be curious, trust your expertise, and don’t be afraid to take up space in the room. Technology and AI are changing quickly, so focus on learning how to apply them to real business problems rather than trying to know everything. Build your skills, share your ideas, develop strong professional relationships, and remember that you do not have to wait until you feel completely ready to take the next step.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest opportunity is helping businesses move beyond simply experimenting with AI and actually implementing it into their daily workflows. AI agents, automation, AI-driven search, and smarter content systems can save time and improve how businesses attract and serve customers. The challenge is keeping up with the rapid pace of change while making sure AI is used thoughtfully, with human judgment, accuracy, and practical business goals at the center.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are integrity, consistency, curiosity, and resilience. I believe in being honest about what works and what doesn’t, treating people with respect, and continually learning and improving. I also value balance and health, because success means more than building a business; it means having the time, energy, and well-being to enjoy the life you are building.
