Ten minutes with Liliana
01What do you attribute your success to?
I feel like I'm a resilient person. I will not give up easily, and I always give my 100% when I believe in something. Success doesn't come from instant actions, so you have to be resilient to the good and to the hard in order to get that redemption at the end.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Do not be afraid of the opportunities, always be open to opportunities, always listen to what is being offered, think what could have been the worst that can happen, it's always take chances but be smart about it. If you work hard and give your all, eventually it will pay off.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Take the chances. If you feel like you don't belong in the room, that's your head. You do belong in the room. You do belong to be heard. Chase the doors, be in the right place by talking and getting to know people, find what makes you feel fulfilled every single day.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
In terms of quality, it's to get people to understand that quality is there not to make your life harder, it's there to protect the patient, protect the reputation of the company, make the company more profitable. Companies with strong quality culture have respectable reputation.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value honesty, transparency, and clear expectations. Communication matters but clear expectations are key.
