Lilly Camacho is an accomplished HR and Benefits Administrator at Hypower, LLC, where she has been a valued team member since 2015. Transitioning from a career in government to human resources, Lilly sought a role where she could make a meaningful impact while driving organizational growth.
With a background in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in psychology, Lilly brings a distinctive perspective to HR. She combines expertise in compliance, benefits administration, employee relations, and workforce strategy with a deep understanding of human behavior, allowing her to effectively support both employees and leadership.
Lilly is widely recognized for her people-centered approach to human resources. She plays a key role in strengthening workplace culture through initiatives such as personalized onboarding, mentorship programs, and wellness initiatives like Wellness Wednesdays, which provide massage and stretch therapy across company offices. Through her open-door policy and commitment to engagement, Lilly ensures employees feel heard, supported, and empowered to succeed.
She also manages FMLA, short-term and long-term disability, and other critical compliance processes with precision, helping align HR operations with the company’s mission and values. Dedicated to continuous improvement, Lilly recently earned her HR certification and is currently pursuing EOS leadership training.
Beyond her professional role, Lilly is committed to giving back to the community. She supports suicide prevention initiatives in Fort Lauderdale and the Pancreatic Cancer Society in Pennsylvania. Lilly is passionate about building meaningful relationships, promoting transparency, and creating workplace environments where employees can thrive both personally and professionally.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to having incredible mentors throughout my life, both within my company and my personal community. Their guidance has shaped who I am as a leader. Additionally, my background in psychology allows me to connect with people, understand their experiences, and create an open-door environment where everyone feels comfortable and heard.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
To lead with openness and build relationships rooted in trust and communication. Lilly emphasizes that strong leadership begins with listening and showing up consistently for others.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say that building strong relationships and being transparent with your communication are absolutely essential. I think that's a great foundation for thriving in any organization. It's all about building those relationships, you know? Being open, honest, and consistent in how you communicate with people. That transparency and connection with others will carry you far in this field.

The values that matter most to me are transparency, empathy, communication, and having good relationships with people. I also believe strongly in continual improvement - always growing, always learning, always getting better. These values guide everything I do, both at work and in my personal life. They're the foundation of how I lead and how I connect with others.
