About Lily
Lily Kirchner serves as Corporate Recruiter at QPS, managing all internal recruiting across the firm in roles ranging from leadership and sales to recruiters and branch managers. She entered the staffing field in 2015 after a friend mentioned an administrative assistant opening at QPS, advancing through recruiting on a remote team, building an inside sales program, transitioning to HR, and assuming her current position. Lily works remotely and conducts 10 to 15 interviews weekly while handling offers and strategic projects for talent acquisition and retention. Beyond her professional work, she founded a nonprofit in 2020 or 2021 to provide resources for local autistic children and has served as president of the board of directors for Global Outreach Catholic Exchange since last September, overseeing a program that brings children from Eastern Europe to the U.S. for school and community service projects. Lily was a finalist for the Employee Owner Excellence Award. Her educational path included several years of college with studies in music, psychology, and art therapy, though she did not complete a degree. She enjoys visual arts, painting, and playing the piano.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Stay true to yourself and be willing to step outside the box and try new things. After being pushed out of my comfort zone I had the opportunity to try new things and that helped me grow a lot.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is finding good candidates because the candidate pool is getting smaller. Staffing is up and down depending on the economic climate.
