Lily Vinson

Lily Vinson serves as Online Retention Manager at LSU, where she leads a team of student success coaches, facilitates meetings, manages Salesforce data, supports registration efforts, and mentors her staff. She entered higher education in 2022 after earning her bachelor's degree in sports journalism with a minor in Spanish and business administration from Southeastern Louisiana University, where she also worked as athletic communications director for the women's basketball team and as an advisor. Vinson completed her master's degree in strategic communication or public relations from the same university in 2023 with honors as a first-generation graduate. She advanced to her current managerial role after beginning as a student success coach for the Master of Social Work program in 2023. Outside her professional responsibilities, Vinson has competed in the Miss America organization for four years, earning the title of second runner-up to Miss Louisiana 2024, and she volunteers as a worship leader at her church since her teenage years and with Christian Youth Theater for hair, makeup, and costumes.
