Her Story

About Linda

Linda Amatucci is a B2B marketing and program operations leader with more than 25 years of experience across technology, SaaS, cybersecurity, customer experience, cloud-focused organizations, and education technology. She currently serves as Senior Director at Graphite Education, where she develops and supports marketing initiatives for technology solutions designed to help independent and religious schools modernize their operations. Her professional expertise includes field and regional marketing, partner and channel marketing, demand generation, campaign strategy, go-to-market execution, executive events, and revenue-focused marketing programs. Throughout her career, Linda has demonstrated a strong ability to translate complex technology and business offerings into effective marketing strategies and customer-focused programs. Her transition into marketing followed a company acquisition, when two vice presidents recognized her ability to help sales teams communicate product value and customer benefits. She subsequently progressed through increasingly senior marketing roles, leading integrated campaigns and programs for Enterprise, Mid-Market, SLED, and partner audiences. At Talkdesk, she directed regional marketing programs across 32 U.S. states and Eastern Canada and achieved 153% of her annual qualified-lead target. Her earlier experience also includes significant partner-generated revenue growth, event management, campaign development, and operational cost savings. Linda's leadership philosophy is grounded in excellence, teamwork, dependability, curiosity, and helping others succeed. She attributes her success to consistently pushing herself to perform at a high level while being a reliable and supportive member of her team. She is particularly motivated by helping colleagues overcome challenges and witnessing their growth and success. Outside of her professional career, Linda enjoys spending time with her husband, outings with her dogs, reading, and watching Survivor. She also maintains a longstanding philanthropic commitment to Make-A-Wish, an organization she supports because of its positive impact on children and its effective use of charitable donations.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Linda

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to always striving to do my best work and not leaving opportunities on the table. I push myself to maintain a high standard while also making sure I am someone my team can depend on. I believe success is not only about individual achievement, but also about helping the people around me succeed. I especially enjoy helping colleagues overcome challenges and experiencing those “aha” moments when they get past a hurdle. One piece of advice from a former manager—“Today, we shined”—has stayed with me, and I strive to create that same sense of accomplishment for those around me.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have received is that sometimes other people can see strengths in you that you do not yet recognize in yourself. Taking a leap of faith when an opportunity presents itself can lead you somewhere unexpected, and that mindset ultimately led me to a 25-year career in marketing. I also believe in being a “slack picker-upper”—someone who steps in, helps solve problems, and contributes wherever needed. I encourage people to ask their managers questions, seek honest feedback, understand where they can contribute most effectively, and be willing to learn both what they are doing right and where they can improve.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would encourage young women to stay curious, ask questions, and be willing to take a leap of faith when opportunities arise. You may not always recognize your own strengths, so pay attention when others see potential in you. Take the initiative to understand your team's goals, ask where you can contribute, and look for ways to help the people around you become more successful. Being dependable, adaptable, willing to learn, and proactive about contributing can open doors you may not have initially considered.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Marketing is evolving rapidly through artificial intelligence, data-driven decision-making, automation, campaign optimization, and increasingly sophisticated marketing operations. I see significant opportunities to use technology and AI-enhanced workflows to make marketing teams more efficient while improving the ability to connect marketing activities to measurable business outcomes. In education technology specifically, there is an opportunity to help schools move away from fragmented systems and toward connected, intuitive technology ecosystems. The challenge is balancing rapid technological change with thoughtful strategy, strong execution, stakeholder alignment, and meaningful customer engagement.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me are excellence, dependability, teamwork, curiosity, adaptability, and helping others succeed. In my professional life, I want to do high-quality work, support my team, and create an environment where others can thrive. I take pride in being someone people can rely on and in helping colleagues overcome challenges. I also value continuous learning and the willingness to evolve. In my personal life, family, relationships, and giving back are important to me, which is reflected in my commitment to Make-A-Wish and the time I spend with my husband, my family and dogs.
