Her Interview
Ten minutes with Linda
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success first and foremost to my faith in God, which has guided me through both opportunities and challenges throughout my career. My drive, determination, and willingness to persevere regardless of circumstances have also played a significant role in my growth. Although I started from humble beginnings, I have remained focused on my goals, adapting new strategies when necessary while never losing sight of my purpose. My son, has also been a constant source of motivation and inspiration.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice she has received from a mentor is to always be the best version of yourself—a principle that continues to shape her leadership philosophy and guide both her personal and professional journey.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women to give themselves grace and embrace the journey of growth throughout their careers. Celebrate every achievement—no matter how small—because each milestone builds confidence, resilience, and momentum for what lies ahead.
Stay committed to your long-term vision, understanding that while your strategies may evolve, your purpose and aspirations do not have to change. Be patient with the process, remain adaptable in the face of change, and never lose confidence in the gifts and potential God has placed within you. Success is not defined by how quickly you arrive, but by your perseverance, character, and willingness to continue moving forward.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the greatest challenges in my field today is continuing to break through glass ceilings while approaching new opportunities with resilience, strategic vision, and adaptability. As the banking and financial services industry continues to evolve, professionals must be prepared to lead through change, embrace innovation, and navigate increasingly complex environments.
At the same time, these challenges present tremendous opportunities for growth. There is significant potential for women to continue advancing into executive leadership roles, shaping the future of the industry through transformational leadership, diverse perspectives, and a commitment to driving meaningful business outcomes.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My faith is the foundation of everything I do, guiding both my personal and professional decisions with purpose and integrity. It shapes how I lead, serve others, and navigate life’s opportunities and challenges.
I also deeply value family, determination, perseverance, grace, self-compassion, and maintaining a disciplined focus on my goals. These principles have strengthened my resilience, fueled my commitment to continuous growth, and enabled me to lead with authenticity while encouraging and empowering those around me. I believe true leadership is measured not only by professional success but by the positive impact we have on the lives of others.
