Ten minutes with Linda
01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say for her to value exploration and to trust her own instincts and her own perceptions, and to really give value as well to what feels important to her inside. Especially when we're really young, you know, to get influenced by what we think everybody else wants us to do, or whatever everybody else thinks is important. And sometimes we don't listen to our voice about what we think is important.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
My biggest challenge is getting clients. But it's a challenge that... it's just the nature of starting a business. So... And then that would be my biggest opportunity as well to have conversations with all kinds of people... And so that's... An opportunity to... Meet all different kinds of people, chat with people, figure out what they... need... And, networking.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value integrity, honesty, accuracy, teamwork, hard work, communication. It's huge. And... I value... Reliable... Reliability. I think listings are really important. Somebody working with you, somebody communicating with you, they know that you're reliable. They know that you're solid, you know, you're a good communicator, as well as offering the good service that you offer, but just that human connection. I think is so important.
