About Linda
I am an educational sales professional with over fifteen years of experience in the K-12 education technology and publishing industry, dedicated to helping schools and districts implement solutions that improve student outcomes. I currently serve as an Account Executive at Lexia Learning, a role I have held since November 2015, where I cover Los Angeles County, Riverside County, and San Bernardino County in a hybrid capacity. In this role, I partner with school districts to provide literacy solutions that support students and educators, building strong relationships and helping schools achieve their instructional goals.
Prior to joining Lexia, I served as an Inside Sales Account Executive at Amplify for five months, covering multiple western states including Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming. Before that, I spent over seven years at Pearson Education as a Math Specialist, where I provided sales support to California school district accounts, facilitated sales presentations and trainings with faculty and administrators, cold-called school districts to gather knowledge on upcoming textbook adoptions, and assisted with purchase proposals and procedures.
Earlier in my career, I served as an Elementary Teacher at Carden Academy for nearly four years, where I planned and implemented a program of instruction adhering to California State Content Standards, created lesson plans that provided effective teaching, and maintained a safe, pleasurable environment that made learning fun and enhanced creativity. I also served as a Sales Associate at McGraw-Hill Education for over a year, where I supported the Regional Vice President and upper management, coordinated administrative activities and reservations for sales presentations and educational seminars, and interacted professionally with school department administrators and faculty.
Across my career in educational sales and teaching, my work has been driven by a commitment to improving student learning and supporting educators with the tools and resources they need to succeed. Whether I am working with a district to implement literacy solutions, facilitating a sales presentation, or teaching in the classroom, I bring a deep understanding of education, a customer-centered approach, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of students and teachers. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue helping schools and districts achieve their goals.
