Linda Robinson

Linda Robinson has dedicated 22 years to local government service in Michigan. Motivated by a desire to assist those less fortunate and to promote fairness in management, she advanced from entry-level roles to a management position overseeing a team of 11 staff members. Her responsibilities include staffing, payroll, mentoring, running meetings, issuing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with Michigan Civil Service Commission rules and union laws. In 2019, Robinson launched an entrepreneurial venture in the beauty industry after attending a mentorship seminar. She obtained her LLC and EIN, registered with SAM.gov, and developed partnerships that placed her branded products in two Meijer stores as well as on Walmart.com and Amazon.com. She maintains active memberships in professional organizations including NERI for two years and both WBENC and WOSB for five years. Outside her professional roles, Robinson enjoys singing in a choir that has recorded an album available on major digital platforms.
