LINDA RUSSELL

Linda Russell serves as the owner and a therapist at Breakthrough Counseling and Consulting of Oklahoma. She entered the counseling industry in 2007 and established her practice in 2009. With a doctorate in educational administration and a master's in counseling earned in 2007, along with graduation from a Bible college, she previously worked in education and other entrepreneurial ventures before transitioning to counseling. Russell specializes in trauma therapy and provides training and coaching to other therapists on effective client treatment. She also holds a real estate license obtained in 2022 and has applied it to house flipping while focusing primarily on training. Her professional journey includes downsizing from an eight-therapist group practice approximately three years ago to focus on her solo efforts. Russell attributes her success to her faith and the spiritual aspects of her life, noting that she helped start a church and has remained actively involved in that community. She views her work as aligned with her purpose and advises those entering the field to proceed slowly and steadily while incorporating personal refresh time to sustain a long career.
