Her Story
About Linda
I started as a dietitian working in hospital inpatient and outpatient settings. I shifted into technology because I saw it as the biggest way to have impact, moving into the startup world in health technology and eventually to Dexcom. As a product manager, I act as a bridge between business strategy, user experience, and engineering, prioritizing features, unblocking teams, and using data to drive value. A typical day involves team stand-ups with engineers and designers plus cross-functional work.

Ten minutes with Linda
01What do you attribute your success to?
Having competence that builds foundational respect and showing value to add. As women, we sometimes diminish our performance, so visibility, using your voice, and bringing diverse perspectives to problem-solving and challenging conventional methods have helped me.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be afraid to pivot. As long as you're passionate and curious about what you want to do, even without the exact educational background, you can build competence and tools to succeed in any field.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
With the wave of AI, challenges include patient privacy and HIPAA compliance in healthcare technology. At the same time, opportunities exist to be more efficient while maintaining empathy and care with patients by keeping a human in the loop.
