About Lindsay
I've been in audio visual sales for 26 years after starting with a sports medicine background. I took the job to gain sales experience aiming for pharmaceutical sales but loved it and stayed. My work focuses on building customer relationships and designing audio-visual setups for classrooms and conference rooms. I attribute my success to supportive people in the industry who helped me learn as the field grew.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the people along the way who supported me and helped me learn the products and the business. The audiovisual industry was new when I started so we all learned it together which helped me grow with it.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Because there are fewer women in our industry it makes it a good place to be as we can stand out. From a female perspective we can offer things in leadership, follow-up and building relationships that function differently and we have more emotional intelligence naturally which we should use as a strong suit.
