Ten minutes with Lindsay

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would say hard work and determination, just being myself, being that compassionate person that will fight for the client when they should be advocated for. So my just the fire I have in me of wanting to be successful. But I was so adamant I wasn't going back to school for years, and now I'm doing it.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say, go with your heart, something that you're gonna enjoy waking up to do, and like to go to work every day, and to not feel like it's like a ugh that I have to get up and do this, it's like I get to get up and do this. Something that you're going to want to do for the rest of your life, maybe half your life, maybe not the rest of your life, but find something that you have a passion for, and do that, and let your passion kind of drive your career, because if that's the case, then you wake up doing something that you love every day.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Challenges are definitely the clients themselves at times, meeting clients where they're at, not getting frustrated with them if they're not where you want them to be. I've learned to just meet them where they're at. It can be a challenge for so many people. I've learned to embrace it. So that is my I think biggest challenge that I've had to deal with. Opportunities are right now not necessarily endless, but they're very robust right now in this field, because drug and fiction's not going anywhere, unfortunately. But it's not. It's always gonna be there. Population we'll always be, you know, someone we need to serve.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value leadership, good team members. That's a good one. I would value like leadership. Main one. I value good leadership, and you know, having a good team.
