Lindsay Hardy

Lindsay Hardy is a mechanical engineer with a diverse background spanning medical device manufacturing, CAD design, quality engineering, and environmental applications. She currently serves as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Gemini Water, where she applies her engineering expertise to water treatment systems. Her career began in the medical device manufacturing industry, where she worked in maintenance and operations before transitioning into CAD design, ultimately building the technical foundation that enabled her move into the environmental sector.

A graduate of Florida State University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Lindsay also participated in the university’s honors program. Throughout her career, she has developed expertise in mechanical engineering, CAD design, 3D modeling, manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and water treatment systems. Her professional experience includes roles as a Quality Engineer, Development/Quality Engineer, CAD Designer, and SolidWorks CAD Manufacturing Engineer, giving her a well-rounded understanding of both design and manufacturing environments.

Lindsay credits determination, perseverance, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning as important factors in her professional growth. Her approach is grounded in understanding how things work, developing new skills, and continuing forward through challenges. She is particularly passionate about encouraging women to pursue technical careers and not allow self-doubt or discouragement to prevent them from reaching their goals.
