Her Story

About Lindsay

I have over 20 years in the field. I earned my undergrad in marketing in 2003 and MBA in 2006 from Wright State University in Ohio. I began in traditional marketing, moved to agency roles including account director and senior project manager, worked in entertainment and surrogacy agencies, and now focus on marketing operations at a creative agency. I enjoy creating standard processes to scale efficiently.

Ten minutes with Lindsay

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to being organized, making quick decisions, and looking at things as a whole. Being a single mom of three kids taught me to work really hard and do what you have to do to be successful.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Find something that you can do for your career that you would do without getting paid for it, that you just really enjoy doing. I've never regretted my career decision because I've always really enjoyed marketing and project management.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

It's a good career field to get into even with AI technology. You can use AI to automate monotonous tasks, but the role will still be there because of the human element needed. Project management helps with organization at work and in home life too.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

AI is a big opportunity because it helps automate monotonous tasks and allows running things more efficiently through standardizing processes. I don't feel AI will remove the role completely because you always need the human element.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Being able to make decisions and look at all the pieces of something, organization, and keeping an eye out for risks to minimize them before they happen.
