About Lindsay
Lindsay Meyer is a veteran of the United States Air Force, where she worked in logistics for six years and spent seven years overseas. After her military service, she earned an associate's degree and a bachelor's degree from the University of Central Missouri, followed by a master's degree completed two weeks prior to the interview. She has held positions including assistant to the chief of police, work at a veteran's home, and four and a half years as a probation and parole officer in Warrensburg, Missouri. Throughout her career, Meyer has demonstrated a continuous drive for professional growth and education. Her achievements include commendation medals, presidential matches and a presidential coin, the Distinguished Graduate Award from Airman Leadership School, and promotion to Senior Airman below the zone. She specializes in probation and parole as well as Air Force logistics, and she values respect, professionalism, clarity, communication, and support in her work.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Give it your all, do your best, don't let anyone bring you down. Ask questions. Be strong, shoulders back, chin up. For probation and parole: be ready to be underpaid and overworked, adapt to each person, never judge, expect honesty.
02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Respect, professionalism, clarity, communication, support, being available as a supervisor, paying attention to people.
