Lindsay Roga, Ed.S., SMHS, CAS is a highly experienced Behavior and Autism Systems Consultant based in Canton, Georgia, dedicated to supporting schools, districts, and nonprofits in creating inclusive, scalable, and human-centered systems. Her career spans self-contained classrooms for students with emotional and behavioral disorders (EBD) and autism, school-level leadership, district central office roles, and international consulting. She has managed district-wide programs serving approximately 42,000 students, participated in high-profile meetings with advocates and attorneys, and contributed to superintendent-level committees focused on policy, inclusion, and behavioral support. Known for translating complex behavioral concepts into actionable strategies, Lindsay guides organizations in moving beyond reactive approaches toward sustainable, system-wide solutions that prioritize adult capacity, shared understanding, and measurable outcomes.

She holds an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University, a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Special Education and Teaching from Valdosta State University, and certifications as a Certified Autism Specialist (CAS) and Student Mental Health Specialist (SMHS). I attribute my success to hard work and resilience, as well as my commitment to seeing each child or person as a whole individual. By approaching every situation with perseverance and a holistic perspective, I am able to create meaningful impact and foster growth in those I support.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

"It's hard. It's worth it." Lindsay urges newcomers to pursue hands-on experience, continually educate themselves, and remain persistent and consistent in their practice.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges in my field stem from the rising number of cases, driven by increased diagnoses and persistent misconceptions. At the same time, there are significant opportunities for those who adopt a mindset focused on supporting a diverse spectrum of individuals, creating inclusive solutions, and making a meaningful impact across varying needs.

In both my professional and personal life, I place the highest value on truth, honesty, and authenticity. I strive to approach every situation with transparency and integrity, fostering trust and meaningful connections with others. Being genuine and “real” in my interactions is central to who I am, guiding the way I make decisions, collaborate, and lead.
