Lindsay Shaw

I have been working at Grier School for just under two years, starting in May of 2024. I began as an Admissions Associate and was promoted to Assistant Director of Admissions in January of this year. What makes my role particularly special is that I'm actually a graduate of Grier School myself. I attended as a student starting my 8th grade year and continued through high school, so I was here for five years. After graduating from Grier, I attended college, and after graduating from university, I was welcomed back into the admissions team. They reached out to me because they really wanted someone who knew the school very well from a first-person standpoint. In my role, I push applicants through the application process, give them more information about our school and all of our signature programs, as well as conduct campus tours and student and family interviews, making families aware of all of our wonderful signature programs and creating that interest for students to come to our school. I also serve as the Director of Summer Camp for the school. I was the Assistant Director of Summer Camp for the past two years, and now I'm going into my first year as Director. Ever since I've been a part of the summer camp director staff, each year we've seen more and more growth within our camp program in terms of registration and satisfaction level, and we've just seen more and more positive impact from our summer camp program. That really transfers into admissions because we use that as a huge draw to the school.
