What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to having really good mentors and friends who taught me the importance of being myself. Their vote of confidence, combined with my own strong work ethic, creativity, spiritual grounding, and the support system I’ve had from my family—especially my parents, who were both teachers—has shaped who I am today.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
One of the most impactful pieces of advice I ever received came from a mentor at Disney, who not only taught me so much about the industry but also reminded me that you can win them all if you stay true to yourself. That lesson—never compromising who you are or what makes you unique for the sake of a company—has stayed with me throughout my career.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
If I could give advice to young women, I would pass along the same wisdom I received. When I entered the male-dominated world of powersports, I was nervous, but I quickly learned the importance of staying true to myself. In an era where social media pressures everyone to look and act the same, and corporate guidelines can make individuality feel stifled, it’s easy to lose yourself. But at the end of the day, you are your best investment.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced in my career has been learning how to pivot at the last minute when unexpected changes arise. This industry is fast-paced and free-flowing, so being adaptable and staying calm under pressure is essential.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
At the core of everything I do are my values: collaboration, taking the time to learn about my coworkers so we can lean on each other, and having strong leadership that inspires and motivates. I believe success comes from working together, staying inspired, and never losing sight of the bigger picture.
