Her Story

About Lindsey

I joined the military at a young age, which I consider one of my proudest accomplishments and what set me on this path. I served for a month shy of 8 years. During my military service, I started my undergrad and finished with a degree in nutrition from Arizona State University. After getting out into the real world and learning more about how life as a civilian works, I pivoted and earned two MBA degrees - one from Cornell University and the other from Queens University in Canada. I also obtained certifications in life coaching and success mindset, which help me with my clients and are built into my education program. About 2 years ago, I saw a gap in the market with underrepresented communities and knew I had a skill I wanted to bring to the public. I started as a simple education program, then built the data pipeline, and now I'm a startup founder and solopreneur. I created a market intelligence platform that brings hedge fund data into people's pockets, simplifying the stock market and making users independent traders who can teach their communities. I'm bringing everything I've learned over almost 15 years - from the discipline I learned in the military to things I learned in my MBA programs - to people who were in my shoes when I joined the military, so they don't have to go through drastic life changes just to get ahead in life.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Lindsey

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would say my family support. My husband, whenever I told him this idea, he was like, alright, you know, go for it. Me having his support to be able to pursue this through the mistakes, through the successes, through everything, has been what has kept me going. Having someone like that in my corner, just being supportive, can mean everything.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't give up, just keep going. Where there's a will, there's a way, and just keep sticking to the vision, and just keep trying.
