Her Story

About Lindsey

I started at Indiana Packers as a production worker and worked my way up over the years. Although I'm technically listed as a clerk on paper, my role has evolved significantly to where I have my own domain and take ownership of the systems I work with. I'm the key contact for a lot of things at the Frankfort facility, where I've been for nearly four years. My main area of expertise is inventory control and analysis. I manage inventory tracking across multiple systems, handle timekeeping and pay allocations for 127 employees across three shifts, and serve as the first point of contact for inventory-related issues and administrative matters. I'm also forklift and walkie truck certified and unload all my own trucks. My journey to this role was unconventional. After having a heart attack at my previous job at Wabash National, I worked briefly as an RV and boat mechanic before returning to Indiana Packers. I had actually worked at the Frankfort plant when it first opened in 2016, left to move to Ohio, and came back in 2017. My diverse background includes semi-truck dispatching for Conrad Trucking LLC, where I managed logs, BOLs, driver tracking, and tax preparation, as well as assistant store management, bartending, general management, retail, and corrections work. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Forensic Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University, which I completed in May 2023, and I'm finishing my Master's in Human Resource Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, with my last day scheduled for October 5th of this year. I'm proud that I've overperformed what was expected of me when I was promoted, proving myself as the underdog who exceeded all expectations.
