Lindsey Reid is a mortgage banking and financial services professional with experience in the industry since 2019. She currently serves as Regional Growth Leader at CMG Financial, focusing on business development and recruiting quality loan officers to support regional growth in Texas and surrounding states. Reid previously held positions at CMG Financial as a Training Specialist and Loan Processor before transitioning to talent acquisition and onboarding roles at another firm. She is enrolled at Champion School of Real Estate to obtain her mortgage license, which she believes will enhance her ability to support loan officers. Her career path reflects a progression from operational roles to people-focused positions in training and recruiting, driven by her interest in building genuine relationships.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My kids have always been my motivation to always be better and do better. They started later in life after being a stay-at-home mom, and every step of the way they've been my encouragement to get to the next level and my biggest cheerleaders.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Go for it and don't be afraid to make mistakes. Build your brand authentically and be yourself unapologetically. Don't get in your head about sounding silly or not knowing answers. People can spot genuine authenticity, so make a splash and don't take it so seriously.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
People can be complacent and stay where they are because it's what they know, especially in the tough mortgage industry. It's hard to get them to make a transition even when it's better, unless there's significant pain. Nurture relationships and build trust so they're ready when the time comes.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Being authentic and truthful, leading with integrity. Treating every person as an individual rather than using a pitch. Building genuine relationships and focusing on people first, which people remember and appreciate.
