About Lindsey
Lindsey Szego serves as General Manager of a family entertainment center, where she is responsible for establishing and leading the location while contributing to her company's broader growth and expansion strategy. Her role encompasses overseeing daily operations, guest experience, attractions, events, and team performance. Her areas of specialization include family entertainment center management, developing people, building strong workplace culture, and scaling performance across teams and locations.
Prior to her current position, Szego spent over four years with Surge Entertainment by Drew Brees, advancing through roles as Special Event Manager, Assistant General Manager, and ultimately Director of Training, where she played a key part in opening multiple locations for the company. Her professional background also spans diverse industries outside of entertainment, including heavy equipment and industrial sales, plant operations, and property management, reflecting a career built on adaptability and a willingness to learn in new environments.
Szego is deeply passionate about mentoring youth and fostering positive team cultures that allow families to create lasting memories together. She credits her achievements to consistent hard work, determination, and an unwavering refusal to give up, even in the face of significant challenges. Guided by a belief in leading by example, she remains committed to supporting her community and empowering the next generation of young people to navigate their own journeys successfully.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to hard work, dedication, and a goal-driven mindset. I have never allowed obstacles to get in the way of my goals and dreams, and I have worked relentlessly to achieve them. Even when the odds were against me, I never stopped and never gave up. I simply kept my faith and kept moving forward.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice I've ever received is that stumbling is not falling. I've learned to stay true to my unique self and to always pursue what I'm truly passionate about.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women entering this industry to embrace challenges rather than shy away from them. Bring positivity to those around you, surround yourself with positive people, and stay involved in your community.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I believe our biggest opportunity right now is to continue supporting our community and its children, helping them navigate their journeys with guidance and encouragement. I'm committed to doing my part to make our community a better place to live.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Mentoring young people and cultivating a positive, supportive team culture are central to who I am, both professionally and personally. I believe in leading by example and staying actively involved in my community, so that I can help families and young people create lasting, meaningful memories.
