About Lindzie
Lindzie CordovaHernandez is a front office representative with Banner in San Tan Valley, Arizona, where she handles insurance verification, patient scheduling, intake paperwork, confirmation calls, referrals, and related administrative tasks. With five years in the medical field, she transitioned from an office manager position at a family-owned dermatology practice and previously worked in behavioral health at Action Behavior Center. Earlier in her career, Lindzie spent about ten years as a Montessori teacher after earning her certification for infants and toddlers, following her CNA certification obtained through EVIT trade school in Arizona during high school. She attributes her professional drive and commitment to patient care to the encouragement of her father, who supported her education and growth, and draws on experiences with her grandmother's care to emphasize compassionate service. Lindzie is excited about growth opportunities at Banner, including the potential to return to school, while maintaining a focus on work-life balance and family.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My dad has always been very encouraging and supportive. He always pushed me to continue to grow and learn, telling me the bar is not on the ground and that there is no limit to what I could do. He supported me getting my CNA and going to EVIT in high school, and encouraged me in soccer and everything else.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is learning new systems and protocols in a new organization, but it is exciting rather than discouraging because I like to meet expectations and learn and grow. I am looking forward to the support, guidance, and growth opportunities including the possibility to go back to school.
