About Ling
I have been an advisor to congressional members for over 20 years since 2006, working with Congressman Nick Lampson and Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, and continuing in the CD18 office. I founded the Asian American Democratic Club as a C4 nonprofit after the 2016 campaign. I organized Asian Americans for Hillary committees and led campaign efforts including phone banking, text banking, and rallies. I also ran a successful oil and gas business in Houston which we sold in 2018. Recently I completed my PhD in organizational leadership.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Have a very strong desire and passion. Be authentic. Build alliances and relations. Be an inclusive leader. Stand up and speak out to overcome barriers.
