Her Story

About Lisa

Lisa Anderson is a seasoned supply chain and warehouse operations leader with nearly two decades of experience in the oil and gas industry and more than 13 years with Flogistix, LP. Currently serving in a warehouse leadership role, she oversees inventory management, operational processes, and software training initiatives across multiple sister companies within the Flowco organization. Known for her commitment to accuracy and compliance, Lisa has maintained exceptional inventory control standards while pursuing her CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management) certification and actively participating in the Association for Supply Chain Management. Lisa’s career path reflects her adaptability, determination, and willingness to embrace new challenges. She began her professional journey in restaurant management, overseeing operations across multiple locations before transitioning into the industrial sector as an electrical and instrumentation technician supporting refinery operations. Following a medical setback, she returned to school to earn multiple welding certifications with honors from Clarendon College. She joined Flogistix in 2013 as a warehouse associate, later moving into fabrication as a welder building vapor recovery units designed to support environmental compliance. Her strong work ethic and leadership abilities ultimately led her back into warehouse operations, where she advanced into management and expanded her responsibilities across the organization. Throughout her career, Lisa has been passionate about planning, inventory control, process improvement, and team development. She believes that successful organizations are built on communication, accountability, and proactive planning rather than reactive problem-solving. A strong advocate for operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and employee growth, she frequently shares insights on supply chain management, warehouse operations, and inventory best practices. Whether mentoring colleagues, implementing new systems, or supporting company-wide training efforts, Lisa remains dedicated to helping teams operate efficiently while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Lisa

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would say I learned a lot from my parents - just by watching them - and from the experiences I've had with peers and mentors. Hard work and adaptability were big lessons. You have to be willing to grow no matter what role you have or where you go with it to be able to be successful. A lot of that comes from experience and from people around you. You can learn from a book all you want to, but once you're out there with people, that's what really shows you what's going on.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Set your goals, know what you want to do, and believe in it. No matter if anybody tries to knock you down, stay strong, go forward, and you'll succeed in what you do. Believe in yourself. I think it's a great influence for people to see and know the different fields, including homemakers, that there is opportunity out there for women, and it is something that can be done so that young women can read and know that the opportunities are there for them.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

AI is a big challenge for everybody to learn. That's the new modern thing that's coming up, and it's an absolute thing we have to do. Learning it and using it properly is a big challenge, especially with MRP and all the systems we are introducing. It's a tool that needs to be accepted - it's coming whether anybody wants it or not. So it's going to be the new world. There's also the controversy over the Straits of Hormuz and the oil industry that's putting strains on adaptation, but we've gone through that with COVID before and we recover and go forward. On the positive side, the ability for data to be collected through our systems is a major opportunity. In logistics, communications between the units we build and the people that own them are actually getting put across into a 3D concept, where you could put on the Oculus headset and the unit will appear in front of you in 3D. You can see it running with hot points and heat points. The technology of our company is what is a major, big growth that's coming, and it will affect the entire industry.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide both my professional and personal life are loyalty, honesty, hard work, communication, and integrity, as I believe these principles build trust, strengthen relationships, and create lasting success.
