About Lisa
Lisa Begley serves as Director of Culture at BAYADA Home Health Care. She has been with the organization for 16 years and has approximately 30 years of experience in her field overall. Earlier in her tenure, her work centered more on learning and development. Lisa earned an English degree in college and launched her career as a technical writer, gaining experience in the mortgage business and technology before moving into human resources, learning and development, and onboarding roles. One of her proudest professional achievements is receiving the Mary Hochstein Award, a peer-nominated leadership honor at BAYADA.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Nancy told me: you have choices. You don't have to do anything. Make a choice.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
There will be slower chapters. They don't need to be the last chapter. Those slower chapters are not a defeat, they are a choice that you make, and it's okay. It will always be another chapter that you can write.
