Her Story

About Lisa

Lisa is a Portfolio Manager at Paysafe. With a career spanning 25 years in project management, she focuses on fintech initiatives that bring value to the organization. She received a promotion about a year and a half ago to the portfolio manager role, where she oversees high-risk business as well as all small to medium-sized business products for enterprise clients across America, working to introduce innovative products that merchants want to use. Lisa holds a Master's degree in Information Systems from Central Michigan University. She began her career in internal audit and maintains certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Ethical Hacker. She also holds PMP and CPA certifications, the latter stemming from her undergraduate degree, and is currently pursuing certification in Windows product delivery with a focus on using AI for efficiency, market research, and improved user experiences. Outside of her professional work, Lisa is passionate about community service. She helped start a nonprofit organization where she and a group of ladies cook for and distribute meals to approximately 100 homeless people twice a month in downtown Jacksonville. She attributes her success to remaining authentic in all she does, including when delivering difficult news to executive teams, by always providing recommendations and solutions. She also strives to serve as a living model for her granddaughter, demonstrating how to be the best woman she can be. Lisa values integrity, honesty, and transparency in both her work and personal life.

Ten minutes with Lisa

01What do you attribute your success to?

Being authentic in everything I do, even when delivering bad news to the executive team, by always providing recommendations and solutions. I also strive to be a living model for my granddaughter to show her how to be the best woman she can be.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Be authentic in everything, and when delivering bad news, always bring solutions along with it.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Select a position that you don't mind doing for free, because that means you get so much joy out of it and it's almost like you don't have a job. Pick a field that you don't mind working in for free, then you know you are in the right area.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

It's wishful thinking to have more women in leadership roles who understand the challenges some women go through in order to get where they are, and they have a voice, and they should be heard.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, honesty, transparency.
