Lisa Brown

Lisa Brown serves as a hospice RN case manager, a role she has held for one year after 26 years in hospital nursing. Her earlier career included positions in the ICU, cardiovascular ICU, cath lab, and interventional radiology, where she achieved the position of ECMO specialist managing life-support equipment for patients whose hearts and lungs could no longer function independently. She travels throughout the Dallas Metroplex to provide care in patients' homes, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes, collaborating with physicians, chaplains, and social workers to ensure comfort, dignity, and family support during end-of-life transitions. Lisa plays the harp during visits to offer music therapy tailored to patient needs and moods. She is currently completing a Master's degree in Nursing Administration and maintains membership in the AACN. Outside her professional duties, she volunteers at an animal shelter, fosters pets through Operation Kindness in Carrollton, participates in her church's Bell Choir and Congregational Care Ministry team, and serves as church nurse for Camp Impact. Lisa also performs with the dulcimer group known as the Sunshine Band at community events.
