About Lisa
Lisa Bulfon brings 35 years of expertise in the travel industry to her current role arranging travel for government and military clients. She began her career with 15 years at United Airlines after being inspired by her father's work there, starting at Dulles International Airport while also working in hospitality as a waitress and bartender. After the airline faced challenges, she transitioned to a travel company where her skills on reservation systems allowed her to quickly excel in sales. In her present position of five years, she assists clients by ensuring adherence to joint travel rules, prioritizing government contracts, and finding the most cost-effective options for flights, hotels, rental cars, and trains around the world. She values kindness and humility in her professional life, noting that her work has always spoken for itself without burning bridges. In her personal time, Lisa crochets baby afghans, lap afghans, prayer shawls, and baby booties, which she donates through her church to support missionaries globally, including items sent to Belarus.

01What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Be kind and humble. Everything I've done, I'm happy with every step I've taken. I've not done anything mean to anybody to gain a position. It was my work that spoke for myself. I never burn a bridge. I've always left kindly.
