Her Story

About Lisa

With over 15 years in the renewables and environmental industry, I serve as a national sales and marketing representative covering four states: Arizona, Nevada, Florida's Panhandle area, and my newest territory, Houston, Texas. My work focuses on educating and catering to the dental industry, where I help doctors and their staff understand the value of collecting precious metals from their practices. I purchase these materials and work off stock market pricing to ensure my clients receive the best benefits from collecting these materials. One of my proudest achievements has been growing the business from Arizona into Vegas, and then implementing an innovative brand new project called SHARPS Programs. This program allows dental offices to receive sharps disposal services for free when they negotiate purchases through us, creating a great incentive for partnership. I created and found a vendor to coordinate the pickups and disposals, and we kicked off a campaign that was so successful, my competitors soon followed suit. My approach combines strong sales and marketing skills with detailed research, organization, and communication to build lasting relationships and deliver results in a market that fluctuates with factors like government policies and gas prices affecting gold, palladium, and silver pricing.

Ten minutes with Lisa

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to determination, consistency, and a great mindset. These three elements have been the foundation of everything I've accomplished in my career.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received was to always have your options open and don't be closed off. You never know when an opportunity may come along that can turn into something great. This mindset has helped me stay receptive to new possibilities throughout my career.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is simple: don't give up. Network as much as you can, and stay positive. These three principles will serve you well as you build your career.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge in my field right now is that we work off the market, so there are many factors we can't control like government policies, gas prices, and other variables that fluctuate gold, palladium, and silver pricing. You really just have to go with the flow with that. However, this also creates opportunities. You can educate your clients on when to sell and when to start being aware of what they're saving and what they're not saving, so you can definitely help them get a better return on their materials.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I'm very organized and focused, and I take a lot of pride in my work. The values most important to me are attention to details, doing my research thoroughly, and maintaining strong communication. These principles guide everything I do both professionally and personally.
