About Lisa
Lisa Christy is an operations manager at Metro Trailer in Concord, North Carolina. With 21 years in the trucking industry, she began her career as a maintenance coordinator at Transport International Pool (TIP). After taking time off to raise her children, she advanced through various roles, including operations supervisor at EPES Transport, overseeing the Lowe's account. Her expertise centers on operations and safety, with a deep passion for supporting drivers. She holds a bachelor's degree in liberal arts after studying psychology for three and a half years and has been a certified notary public since 2019. Lisa is a member of the North Carolina Trucking Association and previously belonged to Women in Trucking. She attributes her success to her strong support system of family, friends, colleagues, and former supervisors.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My support system has been key to my success. That includes my family, my closest friends, and the people I've worked with over the years. Almost every place I have worked at, I still keep in touch with a couple of colleagues. Every step along the way has been a foundation in building my career. I've had some pretty great bosses who have built me up to the next step, and I always accredit my former supervisors.
