Lisa L. Dent

I am the Founder and President of The Women's Empowerment Series, Inc., a nonprofit organization I established in October 2014 and have led for nearly twelve years from our corporate office in Merion Station, Pennsylvania. Our mission is to deliver a series of programs and experiences that educate, support, and empower women and girls. Through our three impactful programs—GEZ: Girls' Empowerment Zone for ages seven to seventeen, CWI: College Women Initiative for first-generation college women ages seventeen to twenty-two, and WEW: Women's Empowerment Work for women of all ages—we help every woman and girl find her voice, embrace it, and amplify it with confidence. Our work is rooted in the belief that every woman and girl has a voice, and we are here to help them use it.

Prior to founding The Women's Empowerment Series, I served as an Advisor to LLD Systems Holding Company for over a decade, an international corporate wellness company headquartered in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, specializing in yoga retreats for employers, employees, and women.

Across my career in nonprofit leadership and corporate wellness, my work has been driven by a deep commitment to empowering women and girls to reach their full potential. Whether I am leading a girls' empowerment workshop, supporting first-generation college women, or creating wellness experiences for corporate clients, I believe in the transformative power of education, community, and confidence-building to help women and girls thrive at every stage of life. I am proud to have spent my career lifting others up and creating spaces where women and girls can grow, lead, and succeed.
