Lisa Dixon

I served in the Navy for 7 years, which really shaped me to be the person I am today. I was a kid going in, and I came out an adult. It grew me up quick. After that, I worked as a paralegal for probably over 30 years. I was one of the best paralegals everywhere I worked. I'm a really thorough researcher. It was part of my paralegal positions that I held, so I could always find the needle in the haystack that other people couldn't. I lived in different states, so I got state certified everywhere I ever lived as a paralegal, so that I could run a paralegal business if I wanted to. When I retired from paralegal work, I became a travel advisor. I got my certification on April 9th, 2022, and started my own business, L. Dixon Travel, under the Archer Travel conglomerate. I specialize in cruising and foreign travel. My son-in-law suggested I become a travel agent because I was always planning everybody else's travel, and I thought, 'You know what? Why not?' So I took the certifications and did what I had to do, and the rest is history.
