Her Interview
Ten minutes with Lisa
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the support of my friends, family, and church community, along with my resilience and determination. I have faced difficult challenges, but I never give up; I face each obstacle head-on, find a way forward, and keep moving toward my goals.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
If pursuing this career is truly in your heart, I encourage you to go for it, even when it feels scary. Major changes require courage, but they also require thoughtful research, preparation, effort, and prayer. Take the time to consider your options carefully, and when you feel confident that the change is right for you, trust yourself and take the leap.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges has been transitioning from 20 years of doing something very different to a completely new role. I’m still finding my own approach and learning how to fulfill my responsibilities in a way that feels authentic to me, and I recognize that building that confidence and finding my rhythm takes time.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value hard work, goal-setting, and building meaningful relationships in both my personal and professional life. I especially enjoy connecting with people, forming genuine relationships, and helping others, which are important parts of how I approach my work and life.
