In her current role at Technocality, Lisa oversees nearly every aspect of installation and service projects. She has successfully managed high-profile initiatives, including a major pharmaceutical rollout across 406 stores in just six weeks, and now oversees all installations in New Jersey for a leading fast-food chain—an achievement that reflects her operational expertise and the trust she has earned within the organization.

Lisa takes great pride in fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment where her team can thrive. She finds fulfillment in helping others grow professionally, solving complex operational challenges, and ensuring every project runs smoothly from start to finish. Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to discipline, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning. I began my career in a law firm before taking time off to raise my children. When I returned to the workforce, I joined my brother’s company on the operations side, despite it being a major industry shift and a predominantly male field. Over the past sixteen years, including twelve leading operations, I have honed my ability to manage complex workflows, meet demanding deadlines, and oversee multi-state projects with precision and confidence.

As Operations Manager, I direct nine subcontractors across seven northeastern states, coordinating schedules, managing logistics, handling client communication, and ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. I take pride in leading high-stakes initiatives, such as managing a pharmaceutical rollout across 406 stores in six weeks and overseeing all installations in New Jersey for a major fast-food chain. What I find most rewarding is helping my team succeed—watching projects come together seamlessly while supporting their growth and confidence in a collaborative, well-structured environment.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received came from my greatest mentor—my father. He instilled in me the values of hard work, discipline, integrity, and humility, which have shaped the way I lead, communicate, and approach high-pressure roles. His guidance gave me the mindset and principles that continue to guide every decision in my career.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to learn the technical aspects as thoroughly as possible so you can feel confident and capable from day one. Strong leadership is built on communication and trust, so never underestimate yourself—even in male-dominated environments. Take opportunities that feel intimidating, ask questions without hesitation, and embrace roles that challenge you, because growth comes from stepping outside your comfort zone.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I see tremendous opportunity in the rise of automation and AI, which are transforming operations and making workflows more efficient. My company is exploring solutions like automated call-handling systems and digital tools that match clients with office spaces, display floor plans, streamline pricing, and schedule appointments instantly. I believe technology will allow operational teams to focus on higher-value work, enhance customer service, and drive stronger overall business performance.

One of my biggest challenges early in my career was proving myself in a male-dominated field, learning complex technical systems, and demonstrating my capability through results. Managing large-scale operations across seven states has also required exceptional organization and adaptability. Overcoming these challenges has shaped me into a calm, confident leader who thrives under pressure and keeps teams aligned even in complex, fast-moving environments.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both work and life are integrity, accountability, teamwork, and family. In my career, I prioritize doing things the right way, communicating openly, and creating a dependable environment where my team feels supported and empowered. I believe in showing up with honesty, treating people with respect, and maintaining high standards, no matter how complex or demanding the work becomes. Loyalty, trust, fairness, and consistency guide the relationships I build with subcontractors and clients alike.

In my personal life, family, resilience, and meaningful connection are central. My children and father have profoundly shaped who I am, and I carry their influence into every decision. I value gratitude, staying grounded, and balancing hard work with time for the things I love—gardening, Pilates, good meals, and being present with loved ones. Above all, I strive to lead with humility and strength, remaining confident yet approachable and kind.
