About Lisa
I have been in my field for over 10 years. I came onto Cengage after being a teacher for a few years after graduate school. Prior to that I worked in publishing, freelance writing, and editing with universities. I was the creative manager for our team in charge of internal copywriting, designers, and freelance teams for about 3 years before my current position of 15 months.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Try to diversify your experience. Develop your writing skills and be fluent in design. Don't limit yourself and leave yourself open to experiences.
