Lisa Makaneole

Lisa Makaneole is a wedding planner based in Koloa, Hawaii, with 18 years of experience in the wedding industry. She began her career handling elopements and relaunched her business five years ago. In her role, she manages client leads, coordinates with vendors, supports current brides, and engages in social media networking. Makaneole earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and multicultural counseling from Evergreen State College, skills she credits with helping her build strong relationships. She is a member of the Kauai Wedding Professionals Association, where she previously served as Vice President. Outside of her business, she volunteers with the nonprofit The Bridge, mentoring high school students, and has supported five mentees in the past.
