Mueller Anesthesia Services, Inc.
Pleasant Ridge, MI 48069

Lisa Mueller is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with more than 30 years of experience in anesthesia and healthcare leadership. She is the President and owner of Mueller Anesthesia Services, Inc., a company she founded in 2000 to provide high-quality anesthesia services across hospitals, surgery centers, and private practice settings. Currently operating in both Michigan and Florida, Lisa has built a respected practice known for clinical excellence, adaptability, and a deep commitment to patient care.

Throughout her career, Lisa has balanced hands-on clinical work with leadership and education. In addition to her work as a CRNA, she has served as a Clinical Instructor at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine since 2012, helping train and mentor future healthcare professionals. She has also held numerous leadership roles within the Michigan Association of Nurse Anesthetists, including President, where she advocated for the profession through government relations, reimbursement strategy, and organizational leadership.

Following the disruptions of COVID-19 and changes in hospital-based contract work, Lisa strategically expanded her business into Florida, demonstrating resilience and entrepreneurial vision. She now divides her time seasonally between Michigan and Florida, embracing both professional flexibility and personal balance. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys an active lifestyle that includes pickleball, scuba diving, kayaking—and navigating the realities of curly hair in Florida humidity with humor and grace.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are service, compassion, and humility, shaped by my experiences on medical missions in underserved communities where providing care with limited resources is both challenging and deeply rewarding.
