About Lisa

I am a dedicated human services professional with over eight years of experience in case management, housing services, and program leadership within the nonprofit sector. I currently serve as Program Director at Volunteers of America-Greater New York, a role I stepped into in February 2026, where I provide program oversight and strategic leadership to ensure that critical services are delivered effectively to the communities we serve.

Before this promotion, I served as Residential Services Manager and Assistant Director of Operations for six months, where I supported residential program operations and team leadership. I also served as Program Coordinator for over a year and a half and as Housing Specialist for over three years, all within Volunteers of America-Greater New York, where I developed deep expertise in housing placement, case management, and program coordination.

Prior to my current organization, I served as Senior Case Manager Supervisor and Case Manager at Samaritan Daytop Village, Inc. for nearly two years, where I supervised case management staff and provided direct services to individuals and families in need. I also served as a Case Manager at S:US for one year, where I continued my commitment to supporting vulnerable populations in the New York City metropolitan area.

Earlier in my career, I served as Housing Specialist and Case Manager at Volunteers of America for over two years, where I helped individuals secure and maintain stable housing. I also worked as a Day Hab Specialist at Unique Life Inc for nearly three years, where I provided support and programming for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Across my career in human services and nonprofit leadership, my work has been driven by a deep commitment to helping individuals and families achieve stability, dignity, and self-sufficiency. Whether I am overseeing program operations, supervising case managers, or working directly with clients to secure housing, I am passionate about creating pathways to hope and healing for the people I serve. I believe that everyone deserves a safe place to call home and the support they need to build a brighter future, and I am honored to spend my career making that belief a reality.
