About Lisa
Lisa Weber serves as Senior Director at Fiserv, where she leads project delivery for print and digital output solutions supporting banks and financial institutions. With a focus on operational excellence, scalability, and innovation, she oversees teams of project managers, business analysts, UX/UI professionals, and quality assurance specialists. Under her leadership, Lisa has successfully expanded her team from 32 to 64 members, standardized processes across distributed teams, and leveraged emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, to improve efficiency and enhance service delivery.
With 32 years of experience leading business systems analysts, project teams, and technology initiatives across industries including food manufacturing, banking, and construction, Lisa has built a distinguished career centered on transformation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Throughout her 17 years in leadership roles, she has been recognized for her ability to navigate complex challenges, build high-performing teams, and drive meaningful business outcomes. She attributes her success to her willingness to take risks, embrace lifelong learning, lead with transparency and authenticity, and maintain a strong commitment to hard work and accountability.
Lisa earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Investment Management from Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska, and a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Human Relations from MidAmerica Nazarene University. She also holds a Six Sigma White Belt certification and is passionate about giving back to her community through volunteer support of organizations such as Catholic Charities USA and Boys & Girls Clubs of America. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my willingness to embrace challenges, take calculated risks, and continuously learn and grow. I believe that being transparent, authentic, and committed to hard work has been essential in building meaningful relationships, overcoming obstacles, and achieving my professional goals. By staying open to new opportunities and remaining dedicated to personal and professional development, I have been able to adapt, innovate, and create lasting impact in my career.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is to honor the commitments I make. Following through on my promises, being dependable, and holding myself accountable have been essential to building trust and credibility throughout my career. I believe that integrity is demonstrated through consistent actions, and delivering on commitments is a key foundation for professional success and strong relationships.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to be intentional about building a strong professional network and surrounding themselves with people they respect and admire. Attend industry meetups, participate in organizations such as Women in IT events, and connect with professionals whose careers inspire them. Do not hesitate to reach out, ask questions, and seek mentorship and guidance. Being surrounded by successful individuals who share their knowledge and experiences can make a significant difference in your growth and opportunities. Most importantly, understand your own values, identify your strengths, and remain confident in the unique perspective and skills you bring to the industry.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges and opportunities in my field right now are navigating the evolving economy and changing market conditions that are impacting organizations across industries. One of the key challenges is finding the right balance between staffing needs and the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence. While AI presents exciting opportunities to improve efficiency and innovation, it also requires organizations to thoughtfully adapt, invest in their people, and determine how technology can best complement human expertise. Successfully navigating this changing landscape will require flexibility, continuous learning, and a focus on leveraging both talent and technology effectively.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are honesty, accountability, and being fully present with others. I believe in showing up, giving my best effort, and approaching every opportunity with intention and integrity. Building genuine connections, being dependable, and making people feel valued are principles that guide how I collaborate, lead, and navigate both professional and personal relationships.
