01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Follow your interests, take chances, make it work, be open, take every call, meet every person, network, be a good person. No one's coming to your door, you gotta go to theirs.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Have a lot of soft skills, not be so linear in their thinking, be flexible, be able to pivot to different things.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Media landscape changing dramatically, contraction in publishing, fewer staff, no magazines like before, journalists all freelance, lots of freelancers in PR, social media now another advertising platform.
