Her Story

About Lissete

Lissete Lopez is an events coordinator, architecture student, and business specialist with a strong interest in creative design and historic preservation. She currently serves as the Leads Events Coordinator at Brimstone Woodfire Grill, where she plans and coordinates special occasions such as weddings, quinceañeras, and birthdays. Her role involves managing staff, coordinating decorations, developing customized menus, and ensuring that each event provides a memorable experience for clients and their families. Before focusing on event coordination, Lissete gained valuable experience in customer service and hospitality through roles at The Cheesecake Factory, including positions as a hostess, to-go food runner, and baker. She has developed strengths in event management, customer service, communication, and creating positive guest experiences. Alongside her professional career, she has pursued creative opportunities through art exhibitions, including the Pembroke Pines Art Exhibit and the Rosemary Duffy Larson Gallery. Lissete is also building a future in architecture, having earned an Associate of Arts in Architecture from Broward College and continuing her studies in the field. Inspired by her father's career in construction management, she hopes to complete her education, gain professional experience and licensure, and eventually establish her own architecture firm. She aspires to further explore architecture internationally. Family and honesty are central to her values, while her volunteer involvement with organizations and community initiatives reflects her commitment to helping others.
