Lissett Mejia

Lissett Mejia serves as a Dual Language Instructional Coach in education, bringing 15 years of professional experience to her role. She supports teachers across grades first through sixth by assisting with lesson planning and ensuring they have necessary resources. Mejia works closely with new teachers arriving from Spain, helping them integrate into the local education system and build networks within the Indianapolis community. After 13 years in the classroom, she transitioned to instructional coaching to foster collaboration among educators and strengthen support structures. She earned a master's degree in curriculum followed by a master's in administration to enhance her credibility and impact as a female leader in the field. Mejia has been recognized as Teacher of the Year and is committed to empowering more women to pursue higher roles in education.
