Her Interview

Ten minutes with Liv

01What do you attribute your success to?

I think, it's just the drive of wanting to get better every day, and keep learning, and stay creative, but also having the support of family and friends and my fiance.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

As much as everyone would like to believe that it matters what you know, it does matter who you know, and then you use what you know to secure that relationship and cultivate them, and help them, they will help you, and just make sure that you share that knowledge with everybody else, and you just keep working hard, because it'll pay off at some point.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say to not be afraid to reach out to people and not to be afraid to pursue it. Everyone thinks like oh it won't happen, it will not work out, but what if it does actually work out? Imagine that. So just never losing that hope. Luck meets preparation. Just always know it'll pay off at some point. Making sure that you allow yourself to be vulnerable and reach out whenever you need help, pay it forward, and don't ever stop trying.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The industry can get saturated, there's a lot of people trying to do the same thing so it might feel a little bit competitive at times, and economy and all those factors. Just definitely trying to stay positive and keep the head above the water.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Transparency, ambition, and kindness.
